Paul Murphy is an experienced professional in the mining industry, currently serving as Chair of the AusIMM Melbourne Branch since January 2024, where efforts focus on enhancing community engagement among mining professionals. With a career at Mining Plus spanning over a decade, Paul has held positions including Manager South America, where responsibilities include managing diverse teams and overseeing a variety of projects throughout Latin America. Additionally, Paul is the General Manager of Tierra Grande SAC, driving project development strategies that align with high-grade, low cash cost assets in the region. Previous experience includes roles at Rio Tinto as a Hydrogeologist/Geotechnical Engineer and extensive educational foundations in Geological Engineering from RMIT University.
