Bridget McCarthy

Head Of L&d (talent Management) at Mini-Circuits

Bridget McCarthy has extensive work experience in talent management, HR, and organizational development roles. Bridget is currently the Head of L&D (Talent Management) at Mini-Circuits since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the United Nations from 2017 to 2022, where they held various HR, Talent Management, and OD roles. From 2018 to 2019, they served as an HRBP & OD Consultant at the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB). Bridget also has experience as Director of Talent Development at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York from 2013 to 2015, and as Chief Training Officer at the United Nations from 2011 to 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked at the U.S. Department of State as Head of Human Resources for the US Embassy in Burkina Faso from 2010 to 2011. Finally, at AIG, they held roles as Director of Global Organizational Development in the Financial Services Division from 2005 to 2008, and as Manager of Global Learning & Development in the Consumer Finance Group from 2004 to 2005.

Bridget McCarthy's education history includes a variety of degrees and certifications. Bridget obtained a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) with a specialization in Human Resource Management from Strathclyde Business School, which is expected to be completed in 2026. Bridget also holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Human Resource Management from the University of Edinburgh Business School. Prior to that, they earned an MBA in International Management from Long Island University and a BA from the University at Buffalo, where they majored in Spanish and minored in Italian. Additionally, they participated in a study abroad program at Universidad de Sevilla.

In terms of certifications, Bridget McCarthy has obtained several certifications in various areas. Bridget obtained the Caliper Profile certification from Talogy in December 2022, the Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner certification from Prosci in June 2022, and the ICF Accredited Certified Leadership Coach (CLC) certification from Destination Leadership in November 2021. Bridget also holds the AgileHR Practitioner certification from Agile HR Community, obtained in 2019. Lastly, Bridget McCarthy is a member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) since October 2000 and holds executive membership in the International Executive Resources Group (IERG). Bridget is also a member of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management).
