Sharon Zhang is a highly experienced mining professional currently serving as a Senior Mine Planning Engineer at Mineral Resources Limited since June 2022. Previously, Sharon held positions as a Mining Engineer at Fortescue Metals Group from October 2021 to July 2022 and at Rio Tinto from April 2019 to September 2021. Earlier in their career, Sharon worked at CITIC Pacific Mining as a Truck Operator, Shot Crew member, and Project Administrator from February 2015 to February 2019, and served as a Vacation Mining Engineer at CITIC Pacific Mining Management Pty Ltd in late 2012. Sharon obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mining and Mineral Engineering from The University of Western Australia, graduating in 2013.
