Juan Carlos Amado Cerpa is an experienced professional in the field of process control and metallurgy, currently serving as Senior Process Control Engineer at Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. since October 2013. Previous experience includes roles as Metallurgist and Head of Process Control at Southern Peru Copper Corporation from March 2005 to October 2013, where responsibilities included monitoring metallurgical variables and overseeing personnel activities. Earlier in their career, Juan Carlos worked as Junior Project Engineer at Control Total S.A.C., focusing on automation project execution in mining companies. Academically, Juan Carlos holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Antonio Ruiz de Montoya and has qualifications in Business Administration from Universidad de Tarapacá, along with a technical diploma in Industrial Electrotechnics from TECSUP.
