Spencer Polk is an experienced professional in the field of Computer Science, currently serving as a Product Architect, Development Manager, and Software Developer at MindBridge since August 2017. Prior to this role, Spencer worked at Purple Forge from April 2009 to June 2017 as a Software Developer, focusing on multi-channel natural language processing systems and mobile web applications. Additionally, Spencer has academic experience as a Contract Instructor at Carleton University, teaching an introductory course in Computational Thinking, and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant during studies for a PhD in Computer Science. Earlier experience includes instructing martial arts at the Bergeron Karate School from 2003 to 2008. Spencer holds both a PhD and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Carleton University.
