Dayanand Acharya has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Dayanand was most recently a Vice President and Business Head at Uno Minda. Prior to that, they held various leadership roles at Continental, including Head of Engineering - Autonomous Mobility and Head of ADAS Engineering - Region Asia. Dayanand also worked at Altran Technologies Inda Pvt Ltd as a Director and at Siemens VDO and Siemens Information Systems Ltd as a Senior Manager. Earlier in their career, they worked at Robert Bosch GmbH, C.G.Smith software, and Metallurgical and Engineering Consultants India Ltd.

Dayanand Acharya attended Bangalore University from 1987 to 1990, where they earned a Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication. Dayanand then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Kuvempu Vishwavidyanilaya, graduating in 1995.
