Sathiya Vaani started their work experience as an Industrial Trainee at JKR Batang Padang in 2010. Sathiya then joined Minconsult Sdn Bhd in 2016 as a Graduate Engineer. Sathiya worked in this role until July 2017. In 2018, they rejoined Minconsult Sdn Bhd as an Engineer, and in August 2019, they were promoted to the role of Senior Engineer.

Sathiya Vaani's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, which they obtained from 2011 to 2014. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's Degree in Railway Engineering at the same institution from 2014 to 2016.
