Dr. Philipp Kant is a seasoned technical product manager and engineering manager at Mina Foundation since May 2022. Previously, Dr. Kant held various positions at Input Output (IOHK) from February 2017 to March 2022, including technical project director, where leadership encompassed approximately 50 engineers working on the Cardano blockchain, and director of formal methods, bridging research and software engineering. Prior roles include senior software engineer at FP Complete, principal software engineer and software physicist at Global Infinipool GmbH, and postdoctoral researcher at both Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Dr. Kant earned a Ph.D. in Physics from KIT (2005-2008) and holds a Diplom in Physics from the same institution (2001-2005), as well as a Vordiplom in Physics from The Philipp University of Marburg (1999-2001).
