Allyn Forsyth is a seasoned professional in the fields of medical communications and biotechnology, currently serving as the Director at MiMedx since August 2021, focusing on regenerative medicine. As Vice President at Singlera Genomics Incorporated since November 2015, Forsyth has been instrumental in advancing personalized medicine through targeted Next-Gen sequencing methods. An Adjunct Professor in the Department of Biology at San Diego State University since 2006, Forsyth has also held significant roles in various organizations, including Senior Business Development Partner & Principal at Samorn Biosciences and Director of Research and Development at FLIR Detection. With a strong background in research and development, including positions at ICXT, Cellpoint Diagnostics, and GHC Technologies, Forsyth has contributed to groundbreaking work in cancer research and pathogen detection. Educationally, Forsyth holds a BS in Biology from UCLA and PhDs in Molecular Biology from both San Diego State University and UC San Diego.
