Jessica Kaminski is an accomplished photographer and educator with extensive experience in the field of photography. As the owner and photographer at The Refinery Photo Studio since April 2013, Jessica aims to innovate portraiture in a unique studio setting in Downtown Milwaukee. Additionally, Jessica has operated as a freelance editorial and portrait photographer since January 2003, working with notable clients such as Milwaukee Film, Milwaukee Ballet, and Seventeen Magazine. From 2009 to 2018, Jessica served as the Photography and Videography Director for Milwaukee Film, and has held teaching positions at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, focusing on various photography courses. Jessica also leads JsKool, a photography education program established in 2013, which blends academic rigor with a supportive learning atmosphere. Jessica's educational background includes a B.F.A. in Photography from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and further studies in Art History and Drawing in Florence, Italy.
