Karey Killian is an experienced education professional with a focus on library media and technology. Currently serving as a Library Media Specialist at Milton Area School District since July 2014 and as a Professional Learning Specialist with the Institute for Teaching and Leading since February 2018, Karey is passionate about sharing learning opportunities and ideas with others. Previous experience includes roles at Big Deal Media and Ed to the Max, where Karey contributed as a Professional Learning Specialist and served on the Big Deal Media Advisory Council. Early career experience at Millville School District, from August 2000 to July 2014, included teaching grades 4-6 and acting as a Technology Coach. Karey holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Houghton University and a Master's degree in School Librarian/School Library Media Specialist from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.
