Alesha Stewart, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist II at MilliporeSigma since March 2021, specializing in the development and release of pharmaceutical and clinical products, with a focus on HPLC and LC/MS techniques. Prior experience includes serving as a Chemist III at the Texas Department of State Health Services, performing analytical analysis of trace metals and inorganic ions in various samples, and as an APHL-CDC Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, addressing antimicrobial resistance. Alesha earned a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin, where research centered on New Delhi Metallo-β-Lactamase, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Denison University.
