James Garcelon has extensive experience in the field of chemistry and business ownership. Currently serving as a Formulating Chemist at Miller Paint Company since February 2022, James also operates Garcelon's LLC as a Contract Consultant Chemist since April 2014. In addition, James co-owns Garcelon's Soup and Grilled Cheese, where the role involves being both Owner and Head Chef since December 2018. Previous roles include ownership at Polychem LLC (2008-2011), Technical Director at Triangle Coatings, Inc. (2007-2008) and The Adhesive Products, Inc. (1995-2007), and Production Chemist at Atwood Adhesives (1991-1994). James holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Oregon and has pursued education at various institutions, including Oregon Institute of Technology, Diablo Valley College, Lake Tahoe Community College, and Portland Community College.
