Jamie Root-Larsen began their work experience as an Advertising Sales & Marketing Manager at Mille Lacs Messenger in 1995. They held this position until 2012. In 2013, Jamie joined Mille Lacs Area Partners in Prevention - MAPP Coalition as a Planning and Implementation Coordinator & Media Specialist, where they focused on preventing underage drinking and promoting healthy choices for teens. After three years, Jamie became self-employed as a Marketing consultant and graphic artist in 2016. Currently, Jamie is working at Mille Lacs Health System as a Community Relations Specialist and Executive Director of Mille Lacs Area Health Foundation, fundraising for the organization's expansion project and other health-related ventures.

Jamie Root-Larsen received sales and marketing training from 1995 to 2012. In 1980 to 1981, they attended Model College of Hair Design and earned a degree in Licensed Cosmetologist in 1982. Additionally, Jamie attended Onamia High School, although the start and end years are not specified.
