Thomas Emil Jensen currently serves as Head of Division for the Water Supply Division at the Danish EPA since October 2023. Jensen is also pursuing an MSc in Forestry through distance learning at Bangor University, expected to conclude in 2024. Previous experiences include roles such as Counsellor for Environment and Circular Economy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and Development and UN Reform Advisor at the World Food Programme. Jensen has held various positions within the Danish Ministry of the Environment, including Principal Private Secretary to the Minister. Educational qualifications encompass a Cand.scient.pol. in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, an MSc in Political Theory from the London School of Economics, and a non-degree fellowship in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School. Jensen has also contributed as an Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen’s Department of Political Science.
