Prior roles include Financial Advisor and Treasury and Insurance Manager at Mowi from 2009 to 2014, Bank and Branch Manager at Comercial Bank from 1997 to 2009, and President of the Management Board at Bank Spółdzielczy from 1991 to 1997. Leszek K. holds a Magister inżynier degree from AGH University of Krakow and has also studied at Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Katowicach.
