Omer Salam, ACA, CFA, FCCA, serves as the Manager of Corporate Finance at Milaha since May 2015, contributing significantly to Qatar’s public listed shipping and logistics company. In this role, Omer oversees mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects, develops a comprehensive M&A manual, and creates tailored growth strategies for logistics and tanker business units. Prior to Milaha, Omer held several positions at EY from August 2007 to March 2015, culminating as Manager in Transaction Advisory Services, where Omer provided strategic advice based on in-depth market research, financial modeling, and business evaluations. Omer holds multiple prestigious qualifications, including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from CFA Institute, Chartered Accountant (ACA) from ICAEW, Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) from ACCA, and a BSC Hons. in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
