Jon Slough has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Jon began their career in 1988 as a Design Engineer at Kobelco Compressors (America), Inc, where they designed rotor tooling and single index milling cutters for helical screw compressors and developed improved supercharger rotors for the drag racing industry. Jon then moved to Quality Computer Services in 1993 as a Sales Associate, providing hardware support and repair of computer systems and networks and leading training in CAD, MS Office, and CAM products. In 1998, they became a CAD/CAM Specialist & Computer Sales at Xcel Computer Systems, Inc, responsible for marketing, sales, training & support of Computer Aided Manufacturing software and advanced computer hardware for CAD/CAM workstations and enterprise servers. In 2001, Jon held two positions; Service at Information and Records and Computer Technician at Integrated Data Solutions. At Information and Records, they provided IT support for workstations, services, microfilm reader printers and scanners, and at Integrated Data Solutions they provided hardware repair and general maintenance and developed a database for inventory of customer assets. In 2002, they became an Imaging Specialist and Sales Representative at Information and Records Associates, performing software installation, service, and support for various document management software, imaging software, and connections to scanners and microfilm scanners, as well as making cold call sales for Micrographic equipment, document management software and hardware. From 2008 to 2013, Jon held the role of Network Engineer at SBP Image Solutions and Network Technician, Backup and Imaging Specialist at Technology Service Solutions. Jon specialized in performing software installation, service, and support for various document management software, imaging software, network connections for MFP to perform printing and scanning operations, and providing telephone and on-site support for hardware and software under contract. Finally, in 2014, Jon joined Miken Technologies as a Business Solutions Specialist, specializing in Business Solutions for managing Electronic Document Management (EDM), business workflows, and business and network process management. Jon currently holds this position, and in 2021 they retired.

Jon Slough completed a BS in Computer & Networking from Davenport University between 1998 and 2006. Jon also obtained a B.A.S and A.S in Network Engineering and Computer & Business Information Systems from Davenport University during this same time period. Additionally, Jon Slough has obtained several certifications, including a DocuWare System Consultant from DocuWare Corporation in October 2005, a DocuWare Application Consultant from DocuWare Corporation in April 2003, a Network Plus from CompTIA in April 1989, an A+ from CompTIA in March 1988, and a CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in December 2005.
