Sandy Cook is the owner of Sandy Beach Travels, a position held since September 2021, bringing extensive experience in the travel and events industry. Prior work includes accounts payable at Midwest Wheel Companies since November 2010, and a wedding planner role at A Piece of Cake Wedding Design from January 2011 to January 2012. Additionally, Sandy Cook worked in corporate/group travel at ITA Group from January 1996 to July 2008, and served as a dietitian in the United States Army Reserve from May 1982 to May 1988. Educational credentials include a Certified Travel Consultant degree from DMACC (1988-1989), a Certified Surgical Tech degree from DMACC (1982-1983), and general correspondence studies at the University of Iowa (1980-1982).
