Jacob Parmenter is a CAD Designer and Model Builder at Midwest Studios since January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Product Development Engineer at Levisonics from April 2022 to January 2024, contributing to the commercial development of a novel medical device. Jacob participated in the NIH Concept-to-Clinic Program from October 2022 to May 2023, where market research and regulatory pathway determination for medical devices were key responsibilities. Additionally, Jacob acted as the technical lead for the National Science Foundation Regional Innovation Corps at Purdue University in June 2022, conducting extensive interviews and market research for a biotech startup. Jacob holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Biomechanics from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, completed in 2022, and has also gained experience in CNC machining and outdoor leadership at Philmont Scout Ranch.
