Matthew Spry is a seasoned transport planner with extensive experience in sustainable travel and transport consultancy. Currently serving as Principal Transport Planner at Midlands Connect since April 2020, Matthew previously worked at Atkins from August 2012 to April 2020, holding roles as Transport Consultant and Graduate Transport Planner. Matthew's earlier experience includes serving as Sustainable Travel Coordinator at Leicestershire County Council from February 2011 to July 2012, where responsibilities included managing travel behavior change initiatives and accessibility planning. Additionally, Matthew worked as a Transport Advisor/Consultant for Leicester-Shire and Rutland Sport for a brief period in late 2011. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning (Transport) and a Bachelor of Arts in Town Planning and Transport, both obtained from Sheffield Hallam University.
