Derek Gasch is an experienced professional in academia and technology services, currently serving as Vice President of Operations at Midland College since February 2003, overseeing IT infrastructure, facilities, grounds, and fleet operations. Previously held positions include Associate Vice President of Technology Services and Department Chair for Manufacturing Services, where responsibilities encompassed managing multiple programs and faculty, developing course schedules, and overseeing budgets. Derek's career also includes roles as an adjunct faculty member and technical support at Midland College, alongside various design and administrative roles in the oil and gas industry. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration and a BAAS in Industrial Technology from The University of Texas Permian Basin, complemented by an AAS in Computer Graphics and an AS in Business Administration from Midland College.
