Desmond Johnson, AIA, NCARB, NOMA, is a highly experienced architect and educator currently serving as the Director of Design at Middle Street Partners, LLC since May 2021 and a Lecturer at Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Architecture since January 2022. Johnson's professional background includes significant roles such as Project Manager at NELSON Worldwide and Project Architect/Project Manager at Moody Nolan, where responsibilities encompassed client communication, project deliverable oversight, and quality assurance. Prior experience spans over five years at Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio as an Associate, focusing on architectural and urban design projects, and earlier positions as a graduate research teaching assistant and architectural intern in various firms and governmental agencies.
