Josh Groman is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in specialty and venture finance focused on life sciences and technology sectors. As Chief Investment Officer and Co-President at MidCap Financial since September 2008, Josh has also held roles such as Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Head of Life Science & Technology Finance. In addition to current responsibilities, Josh has served as a Board Observer for TracPatch Health, Partner Therapeutics, and Sight Sciences, Inc. Previous positions include Engagement Manager at ClearView Healthcare Partners, Vice President at Merrill Lynch, and Strategy Consultant at Leerink Partners. Academic credentials include a PhD in Human/Medical Genetics from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, an MS in Evolutionary Biology from Vanderbilt University, and a BS in Biology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
