Miia Hakala

Office Manager (interim) at Midaxo

Miia Hakala has extensive experience in various roles related to talent management, HR, and office management.

Starting in 2008, they worked as an Executive Assistant at Digita Oy, where they handled meeting arrangements, travel arrangements, and basic administrative duties.

From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Digital Chocolate as an Assistant, where they provided general office support, assisted in HR and finance functions, and organized events.

At Kiosked from 2013 to 2015, they served as an Office Manager, responsible for back-office functions and handling people operations.

Miia then joined Schneider Electric as an HR Shared Services Coordinator, where they oversaw payroll, provided HR guidance, and implemented HR regulations and rules.

From 2017 to 2018, they worked at Dodreams Ltd. as an Office Manager, managing financial operations, HR processes, and designing company policies.

At Games Factory Talents from 2018 to 2019, they were a Talent Manager and co-founder, sourcing and attracting foreign talents for the Finnish game scene.

From 2019 to 2021, as the Office & Talent Manager at Critical Force, they played a key role in talent management, recruitment, and office management, including crisis communication during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Miia then worked as an HR & Talent Acquisition Consultant at Barona / MaaS Global in 2021.

Currently, they are the Head of Talent at MaaS Global Ltd, starting in 2022.

Miia Hakala attended Helia from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a BBA degree in Tourism. In addition to their degree, they also received certifications in Leadership Foundations from LinkedIn in July 2021 and Inbound meets HR certification from Marbles Oy in July 2020.
