Marcus Hellerstedt has a diverse work history that spans over two decades. Marcus began their career with the United Nations, where they served in the military from July 1996 to January 1997. Following this, they joined PwC as an auditor, working with various companies until June 2016. During their time at PwC, they became an Authorized Public Accountant in 2006. From 2016 to 2020, Marcus worked at ITAB Group as the Head of Group Business Controlling, overseeing business analytics, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic business development. Most recently, they have joined MIDAQ AB as the Chief Business Development Officer and a member of the Group Management team, responsible for business development, analysis, and change work at the group level.

Marcus Hellerstedt obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration from Jönköping University, with a focus on accounting and financial management, from 1997 to 2001. In 1999, they also studied business administration, business law, business culture, and Spanish for one semester at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Guadalajara, Mexico, as part of their Master's program. In 1996, Marcus completed a semester of studies in Business Administration at Örebro University.
