Mentor Program Committee at Mid-Continent Public Library

Lauren H. has extensive experience in library services and education, currently serving on the Mentor Program Committee at Mid-Continent Public Library since October 2013, where responsibilities include managing a 10-month mentor development program. Lauren also plans and coordinates special events at the Green Hills Library Center, focusing on community engagement and collaboration with local outreach organizations. Previously, Lauren worked as a Library Access Specialist, a Professional Tutor, and held multiple teaching positions at Liberty Public Schools, fulfilling master's requirements while teaching 11th grade Communication Arts. Earlier career roles include account executive positions at Meyer Partners, Log-On Marketing, and GlynnDevins. Lauren holds a degree in Journalism and Advertising from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master’s in Education/Instruction from Park University.
