Juan Ignacio Rion currently serves as the Head of Operations at microTERRA, where responsibilities include defining the company's IP strategy, overseeing the impact department and field science team, leading marketing efforts, managing HR departments, and conducting market analysis. As a co-founder of Carbon Cell, Juan Ignacio directs product strategy and manages partnerships. Previous experience includes roles at Consulting by Kantar, where Juan Ignacio led the Sustainable Transformation Practice in North America, and various engineering and consultancy positions. Juan Ignacio holds master's degrees from Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art in Innovation Design Engineering, as well as a bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Southern California.
