Carine De Nys currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors at microStart since July 2022. Prior to this role, Carine held various significant positions at BNP Paribas Fortis from October 2008 to June 2024, including Deputy Head of Territory, Chief Compliance Officer, and Chief Risk Officer for Private Banking. Additional experience includes serving as a Non-Executive Director at bpost banque from December 2022 to February 2024 and at Heder VZW from 1997 to 2016. Carine's earlier career features roles at FORTIS BANK NEDERLAND N.V. and Generale Bank, encompassing management and banking responsibilities. Education includes a Master's degree in Law and multiple postgraduate degrees from KU Leuven, along with executive education from London Business School and Guberna focusing on Director Effectiveness and Board Effectiveness.
