Bill Duff

Bill Duff serves as the Corporate Vice President and CFO for Consumer and Devices at Microsoft, where responsibilities encompass financial leadership for Windows, Office, Copilot, Advertising, Surface, and Xbox businesses globally. With an extensive career at Microsoft since January 2004, Duff has held various CFO roles, including for the Windows and Devices Group, Operating Systems Group, and Windows Phone Division, where key focus areas included strategy, business development, financial planning, and analysis. Prior to Microsoft, Duff was a Vice President in Investment Banking at Hambrecht & Quist / JP Morgan, concentrating on communications technologies and data center infrastructure, and worked as a Manager at San Francisco Consulting Group / KPMG, specializing in telecommunications consulting. Duff holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
