Nagdi Tafish serves as the Director of Firmware Engineering at Micron Technology since December 2018, bringing extensive experience in firmware management from previous roles at Sandisk and Western Digital. At Sandisk, Tafish held the position of Director of Firmware Engineering from January 2017 to December 2018 and previously managed firmware engineering teams as a Senior Manager from August 2010 to October 2016. This work included oversight of NAND Low Level drivers and Data path firmware for eMMC and UFS products. Prior to that, Tafish worked as a Senior Firmware Engineer at SanDisk and OPGAL Optronic Industries, focusing on firmware development for secured FLASH memory cards and image processing software. The foundational experience began with the Israeli Air Force Software Division, leading an armament control set firmware team. Tafish earned a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
