Merrick Cloete is a seasoned professional in machine learning and software development, currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Micromine since September 2022, where responsibilities include designing and implementing advanced models for grade prediction and mineral identification. As the Director of Cloete Technologies since February 2018, Merrick develops software and data science solutions primarily for clients in the mining sector. Previous experience includes roles at Uber as a Regional Operations Associate, co-founding madbrew.coffee to create an automated cold brew coffee dispensing system, and co-founding veri.vote to deliver a secure electronic voting system using blockchain technology.
