Antonio De Grazia has a diverse work experience in the field of research and engineering. Antonio currently works as a Microfluidics Engineer at MicrofluidX since 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at the University of Southampton. From July 2020 to September 2021, they worked as a Research Fellow focused on developing Covid-19 respirators for care homes. In March 2020, they served as a Research Fellow for the emergency development of respirators for healthcare workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Antonio also worked as a Research Fellow from August 2019 to June 2020, studying cell deformation under ultrasounds. Earlier in their career, from January 2019 to July 2019, they worked as a Senior Research Assistant, focusing on microfluidics and biofilm formation. Prior to that, from March 2016 to March 2018, they worked as a Demonstrator at the University of Southampton.

From 2009 to 2013, they attended Università 'Magna Graecia' di Catanzaro and earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering.
After that, they pursued a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from 2013 to 2015 at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology).
From 2015 to 2019, Antonio enrolled in the University of Southampton and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electronics and Computer Science.
In addition to their degrees, Antonio also obtained several certifications. In April 2018, they received certifications in "ACCOUNTING I: FUNDAMENTALS" and "FINANCE: TIME VALUE OF MONEY" from Smartly by Pedago, LLC. Antonio also obtained an IELTS certification from IELTS Official in August 2015.
