Semir Haddad is the Chief Product & Strategy Officer at MicroEJ. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director Product Marketing at Eta Compute from July 2019 to March 2022. In this role, they led the product marketing, technical marketing, and strategic marketing for AI devices and solutions. Semir successfully launched the ECM3532, one of the first low-power AI processors in the market.
Semir then challenged the product/market fit and redefined it with extensive customer validation. Semir identified opportunities in audio, computer and consumer and defined an aggressive product roadmap. Semir also identified software and developer experience as one of the gaps and drove the actions to improve it. As a result, they successfully released TENSAI Flow, their software platform, and several AI prototyping boards.
In addition, they led the strategic partnership with Edge Impulse, TinyML, EEMBC, Mediatek, Intel to multiply their visibility and execute co-marketing activities that supercharged their go to market strategy. Semir also grew their brand with analyst and media and got recognized by Forbes and EETime.
After their pivot, they lead the market identification effort for their intelligent sensors with a focus on strategic customers and new use cases. Semir validated the market and identified four promising segments. Semir also managed the application team, 2 international sales reps, the marcom team and several consultants.
Semir Haddad has a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from CentraleSupelec, an MBA in General Management from ESSEC Business School, a Nanodegree in Deep Learning Foundation from Udacity, and a Digital Marketing Nanodegree in Marketing from Udacity. Semir is also certified by LinkedIn in Agile Product Owner Role: Foundations.
