Cyrus Patel has extensive experience in the document management and ship design industries. In 1986, they founded Patel MicroData, which became India's largest microfilm organization and later expanded to include a ship design division. In 1996, Cyrus founded Automated Workflow (now known as Candela Labs), a content management and business process management company. Cyrus also founded Carver Technologies India in 2011. Throughout their career, Cyrus has held various roles such as CEO, Director, Founder, and Non-Executive Director. Cyrus'sexpertise lies in serving clients from multiple sectors including archives and libraries, banking and finance, government and public sector, and more.

Cyrus Patel attended Cathedral & John Connon from 1964 to 1975, where they completed their ICSE degree in Accounting. Cyrus then went on to study at Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics from 1977 to 1981, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance.
