Chris Thompson, CSWP, has extensive experience in mechanical design engineering, currently serving as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Microcom Corporation since September 2012. In addition to this role, Chris is the President of Appian Way Technologies LLC, specializing in 3-D Computer Aided-Design (CAD) services and engineering. Previous experience includes contract positions at Commercial Vehicle Group and HealthSpot, contributing to product design and the development of the Healthspot Kiosk prototype. Chris also served as a Mechanical Engineering Consultant at Neoprobe Corporation and worked in contract roles at Diamond Innovations and Delta Design, where significant contributions were made to various engineering projects. Chris holds a B.S. in Aviation from The Ohio State University, obtained between 1989 and 1992.
