Amandine Lavastre

Amandine Lavastre is a scientist with a strong background in toxicology and molecular biology, currently working at Galapagos since March 2020, where roles have included Scientist in CAR-T and Compound Evaluation. Prior experience includes roles at Bayer Crop Science as a Junior Toxicology Engineer, where responsibilities involved developing assays and conducting cytotoxicity comparisons, as well as an internship focused on early toxicology involving robotic platform assays. Amandine completed internships at Copenhagen University in ecotoxicology, INSERM in molecular biology, and the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety in cell toxicology. Educational qualifications include a DUT in Biological Engineering and a Baccalauréat in Scientific studies with a specialization in SVT from Polytech'Nice-Sophia and IUT de Laval, respectively.
