Dr. Lars Bach has extensive work experience in various managerial and directorial roles in different companies. Dr. Lars started their most recent position as Chief Operating Officer at MICLEDI microdisplays in October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as COO at Avancis from May 2017 to October 2021. Before joining Avancis, Dr. Bach served as Technischer Geschäftsführer - COO at TR Electronic from January 2016 to April 2017. Dr. Lars also worked at Cytec as Sitemanager / Werksleiter from February 2014 to December 2015 and as Deputy Sitemanager from July 2014 to June 2014. From May 2012 to January 2014, Dr. Bach held various roles at Solibro GmbH (Hanergy Holding), including Director/VP CIGS Turnkey FAB, Director Operations, Director Quality, Director Expansion, and Department Manager Process-Development. Earlier in their career, they worked at Qimonda in different roles, including Projectleader Thin-Film Qimonda Solar, Projectleader Predevelopment, and Module Leader MOL from June 2004 to July 2008.

Dr. Lars Bach obtained a Doctor of Physics (PhD rer Nat) degree in Physik from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. Dr. Lars pursued their education at the university from 1996 to 2004.
