Carolyn Cassin is the President & CEO of Michigan Women Forward, a statewide organization with a mission to invest in women and promote economic growth. Carolyn has over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, including previous positions as President & CEO of the BELLE Michigan Impact Fund and Continuum Health Partners.
Cassin is a passionate advocate for women's rights and economic empowerment. Under their leadership, Michigan Women Forward has awarded over $1 million in grants and loans to women-owned businesses across the state. Carolyn is also a founding member of the Michigan Women's Foundation, where they served as Board Chair from 2010-2012.
A native of Detroit, Cassin earned their undergraduate degree from Wayne State University and their MBA from the University of Michigan.
Carolyn Cassin has a BA in Political Science and International Relations from Miami University, and an MPA in Public Administration from Western Michigan University.
