Sat Pal is a seasoned Senior Engineer Software at Michigan State University since April 1993, currently leading the mainframe technical team on the Student Financial Aid upgrade project, migrating systems from Classic SAM to ProSAM. With prior experience as a Technical Lead and Solution Architect, Sat Pal has successfully modernized mainframe platforms and implemented key technologies, enhancing operational efficiency. Earlier roles include Principal at SSI, supporting Student Financial Aid systems at Eastern and Western Michigan Universities, and Technical Project Lead at Coopers & Lybrand, where significant improvements were made to Student Information Systems. Sat Pal's career began as a Consultant/Analyst at DS Computing, where development of a notable online application took place. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Punjab Engineering College.
