Erik Brown currently serves as Senior Director of Private Equity at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, while also holding the position of Principal at Red Cedar Capital, focusing on venture capital investments in early-stage companies. Additionally, Erik is an Active Limited Partner at Decasonic, an investor at Goldfinch and Wander, and part of the Advisory Committee for the Michigan Rise Pre-Seed Fund III, supporting tech startups. Erik has been a Board Member of the Financial Markets Institute at Michigan State University since 2009 and served on the Advisory Board of the Michigan State University Foundation until December 2023. Previously, Erik was a Principal at Aspire Capital Partners, LLC, a Chicago-based investment fund, and a Web3 Mentor at Launchpool Web3 Techstars. Erik holds a BA in Finance from Michigan State University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
