Marshall Vielmetti is currently a Software Development Intern in Tactical Systems Prototyping at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, beginning May 2024. In addition, Marshall is a member of the Michigan Mars Rover student project team, focusing on software and autonomy. Previous experience includes serving as an Engineering Intern at Menet Aero, where Marshall developed a patented drone tracking system and worked on PCB design and low-level programming. As the Programming/Manufacturing Lead for FIRST Team 4786, Marshall led a team to success in robotics competitions, earning the Excellence in Engineering Award. Earlier roles include data analyst positions at Creo Advisors LLC and bigbyte software systems, where Marshall improved analytics processes and data visualization capabilities. Marshall is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, with a minor in Electrical Engineering, at the University of Michigan, expected to graduate in April 2025.
