John Spielberg has extensive experience in environmental quality analysis, currently serving as a Senior Environmental Quality Analyst at the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality since 1992. In this role, John leads brownfield and site assessment projects across the state, focusing on assessing risks to human health and the environment. Previously, John held the same title at the Michigan Department of Natural Resources & Environment from 2004 to 2011, where responsibilities included team leadership in field projects, historical evaluations, site visits, work plan development, and data analysis. John holds an M.S. in Brownfield Redevelopment and multiple B.S. degrees from Michigan State University, including Limnology and Fisheries Management, and Natural Resources & Environmental Education.
