Michelle Strobel is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in strategic planning and corporate relations. Currently serving as Communications Manager at MESSA since November 2020, Michelle previously held the position of Associate Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations at Albion College for nearly a year. Prior experience includes key roles at the Michigan Secretary of State, where Michelle worked as Strategic Planning Lead and Assistant Chief of Staff from 2013 to 2019, and at Michigan State University's College of Social Science, serving as Assistant to the Dean for Strategic Initiatives and Director of Communications for a decade. Early career highlights include positions at HighScope Educational Research Foundation as Special Projects Assistant to the President and Development Associate. Michelle Strobel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Marian University Indianapolis in 1990.
