Madison Sorsen is an experienced professional in community development and organizational management, currently serving as a Business Development Manager at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation since October 2022. Prior to this role, Madison held the position of Senior Community Organizer at the Topeka Justice, Unity and Ministry Project (JUMP) from December 2017 to December 2021, focusing on grassroots leadership and advocacy for justice in Shawnee County, Kansas. Madison has also contributed to Michigan State University as a Senior Research Assistant, where responsibilities included researching community development issues and coordinating events. Additionally, Madison's background includes various roles such as a Resident Assistant, Events Coordinator, and Grant Committee Member for the City of Lansing. Madison holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Relations and Policy from Michigan State University, obtained in December 2017.
