Rashid Khan, M.D., earned his medical degree from the Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. Dr. Khan completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut, and his fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Post fellowship, Dr. Khan served as faculty at the Myeloma Institute in Little Rock, Arkansas where he gained expertise in treating hematologic malignancies and autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation. Dr. Khan is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology.
Dr. Khan is an active member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). He has participated in clinical and translational research and has published several peer-reviewed articles. He currently serves as principal investigator and participant in several clinical trials ongoing currently at Michiana Hematology-Oncology.
