Stephan Gentner has extensive work experience in various roles within the manufacturing and chemical industry. Stephan started their career at Roche as a Betriebschemiker Vitamin A Produktion, where they were responsible for overseeing and optimizing production. Stephan later became a Projektleiter zur Einführung von SAP R/3, leading the implementation of SAP R/3 software.
Gentner then joined DSM, where they held several senior positions. Stephan served as a Project Portfolio Manager Vitamin Productions, overseeing multiple projects related to vitamin production. Stephan also served as Head Operational Excellence, focusing on LEAN/Six Sigma and Manufacturing IT. Stephan later became the Leiter Prozessentwicklung & Engineering und Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung, where they were responsible for process development and engineering at the Grenzach facility. Prior to leaving DSM, Gentner served as the Safety Culture Lead und Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung, working towards ensuring a safe working environment for employees.
Currently, Gentner is the Head of Operations & Site Manager at Mibelle Group, where they oversee the company's operations in the Personal Care & Beauty, Home Care, and Nutrition sectors. Stephan focuses on delivering innovative solutions that cater to the needs of customers and consumers.
Stephan Gentner has a diverse education history. In 1993, they graduated from ETH Zürich with a degree in Dipl. Chem.-Ing. ETH. Stephan furthered their education at various institutions over the years. In 2011, they completed Medientraining at MAZ-Die Schweizer Journalistenschule. From 2009 to 2012, they pursued MAS Project Management at HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich. In 2012, they attended ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences to become a Wirtschaftsmediator/Konfliktmanager SGO/zhaw. Stephan also studied Lösungsfokussiertes Coaching & lösungsfokussierte Organisationsentwicklung at Perspectiva, Basel in 2014. In the same year, they began their Sicherheitsingenieur degree at ETH Zürich, specializing in Risiko und Sicherheit technischer Systeme. Lastly, they completed CAS Krisenkommunikation at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences from 2016 to 2017.
