Mike Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations, planning, and interior design. Currently serving as the Manager of Operations & Planning at Miami University Libraries since March 2022, Mike previously held the role of Manufacturers Sales Representative at Hanson Distribution Agency from December 2019 to March 2022, where representation included brands such as KI and Pallas Textiles. Mike also served as the Mayor of the City of Oxford, Ohio, from November 2019 to December 2021. An accomplished interior designer, Mike contributed significantly to the interior design responsibilities for Miami University's Academic Operations from September 1994 to December 2019, encompassing various sectors including classrooms, offices, laboratories, and hospitality areas. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Miami University.
