Tanzila Rahman is an experienced optometrist currently providing comprehensive eye examinations to financially disadvantaged K-12 grade students at Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Inc. since August 2014. With a Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University, Tanzila Rahman has also operated a private practice, Tanzila Rahman O.D. P.A., delivering a wide range of vision care services. Prior experience includes working at The Lasik Vision Instituteā„¢, where education on refractive surgery and pre/post-operative care were provided, as well as externships at Eye Center of Dr. Davis and Nguyen and Aker Kasten, focusing on primary care and ocular disease management. Tanzila Rahman's education also includes a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science/Physiological Optics and a Bachelor of Science with honors in Biology and Psychology.
