Allison Morris is a dedicated mental health professional with diverse experience in counseling and research. Currently serving as a Mental Health Counselor at Mental Health Providers of Western Queens, Inc. since July 2022, Allison specializes in evaluating clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health while developing tailored intervention and recovery plans. Previously, as a Bilingual Research Fellow at FreeState Justice, Allison conducted a statewide needs assessment to guide direct client services and policy advocacy for low-income LGBTQ+ individuals in Maryland. Educational background includes a Graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling from Brooklyn College and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish from SUNY New Paltz, complemented by prior roles in counseling, client intake, and medical record management.
